Desirable Dietary Pattern for Bangladesh

Cereal staples contribute to 70% of total energy intake and a substantial proportion of dietary protein with imbalances in macronutrient and micronutrient intakes in the Bangladesh diet. The study aimed to compute energy requirements using PAL values, compile nutrient requirements and develop various diet plan options giving attention to factors of food availability, biodiversity and cost.
